Goodwill Financial House unveils scholarship partnership with FUNIC Business School

Goodwill Financial House (GWFH), an accredited Category 2 microfinance institution and subsidiary of the Goodwill Group of Companies, has signed a partnership agreement with FUNIC Business School aimed at expanding access to advanced business education and strengthening managerial and leadership capacities in Cameroon.

Under the agreement, the financial institution will award 10 partial scholarships annually to students enrolling in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programmes at FUNIC Business School. Each scholarship will cover 25 per cent of tuition fees.

In addition, Cameroonian students admitted into the concerned programmes will benefit from specially designed study loan facilities provided by Goodwill Financial House to facilitate access to higher education and ease tuition payment constraints.

Headquartered in Douala and established in January 2021, Goodwill Financial House is a regulated microfinance institution approved by COBAC under Decision No. D-2024/124 and authorised by Ministerial Decree No. 00000710/MINFI. It operates in the fields of savings and current accounts, SME financing, digital payment solutions, and financial advisory services for individuals, entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized enterprises.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, officials of the institution stated that the initiative aligns with their commitment to supporting education, leadership development and human capital formation as key pillars of sustainable economic growth and institutional transformation.

They indicated that the scholarship programme is designed to support deserving students who demonstrate academic excellence, innovation, and strong professional commitment.

The institution further emphasised that sustained investment in knowledge and skills development remains essential for economic resilience and inclusive growth.

Applications for the scholarship programme are currently open for the June and October academic sessions. The programmes concerned are the MBA and DBA offered by FUNIC Business School.

Goodwill Financial House operates under the slogan: “Grow With Us.”
