MINAT Boss Chairs Security Meeting In Garoua


Atanga Nji Paul, Minister of Territorial Administration holds a security meeting in Garoua with administrative and traditional rulers. Main focus is the sale of land by traditional rulers in disregard of text and laws of Cameroon governing land. According to him all land belong to the state until properly acquired, but traditional rulers have been selling land to multiple buyers, resulting to conflicts with many of them dragged to court. He cautions them to follow the law because most of those lands are government reserved areas for various important socio-economic development projects.
