Cameroon-Parliament: Four Bills Tabled At National Assembly

The second ordinary session of parliament for the 10th legislative year has begun effectively with four bills tabled today at the national assembly which when adopted by the majority shall authorize the president of the Republic of Cameroon to ratify some cooperation agreements.

The four bills consist of Bill No1096/PJL/AN to govern access to genetic resources, their derivatives, traditional knowledge associated with genetic resources and the fair and equitable sharing of the benefits arising from their utilization, Bill No1095/PJL/AN
to authorize the president of the Republic of Cameroon to ratify the cooperation agreement between the government of the Republic of Cameroon and the Swiss Federal Council on the reciprocal abolition of visa requirement for holders of diplomatic or service passport signed in Yaounde on September 26, 2014, Bill No 1094/PJL/AN to authorize the president of the republic of Cameroon to ratify the stepping stone agreement towards a bilateral economic partnership agreement between the Republic of Cameroon and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland AND Bill No1093/PJL/ANto ratify ordinance No.2021/2 of 26 May 2021 to amend and supplement some provisions of law No 2020/18 of December 17, 2020- Finance law of the Republic of Cameroon for the 2021 financial. www.lashaking.info
