In the Male category, Ali Mohamadou came 1st, Godlove Gabsebuim 2nd and Fai Elvis 3rd all from the Northwest. It should be recalled that Godlove Gabsebuim is 5 times winner if the race: 2012, 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2020, respectively.
Also on the record is Kongnyuy Shey from Bui Division, North West Region, who himself notched 3 wins in 1999, 2000 and 2002; a record which only his Bui brother has attained!
In the female category Kitan Mildred Ntumeku emerged winner. Like his peers she takes home the sum of 8, 900,000 Francs CFA after 11% tax deduction. Mildred dropped out of school because of the anglophone crisis.
In the junior category, athletes from the North West Region equally made their presence felt. Ndifon Pamela won second consecutive title, while all three on the podium in the junior men’s category came from the North West; Mamodou Dahirou finished 1st, Gabsebuim Prophet 2nd, and Walters Mbuh 3rd.
