International Non governmental organisation, Human Rights Watch releases a damning report on alleged atrocities perpetrated by elements of Defense and security forces in Ebam, Manyu Division of the South West Region of the country.
The report released today cites an incident which happened as far back as March 1, 2020, reveals that at least 50 soldiers raided Ebam village, tortured, stole arrested men burnt several homes and raped women including some living with disabilities. See report below.
The attack on the village of Ebam in the South-West region was one of the worst by Cameroon’s army in recent years, says HRW.
