Cameroon: 5000 Nigerian Refugees Voluntarily Return Home

Meeting of the tripartite commission for the voluntary repatriation of Nigerian Refugees living in Cameroon holding at the conference hall of the Far North Governor’s office this February 10, 2021.
Head of the Cameroonian delegation is Atanga Nji Paul, while Babagana Umara Zulum, Governor of Borno State, Nigeria is leading the Nigerian delegation. Alongside the UNHCR representataives from Cameroon, Olivier Guillaume Beer, that of Nigeria and representative of the UNHCR based in Senegal covering the Central and West African Countries.
Some 5000 Nigerian refugees have voluntarily opted to return home.
