Mathurin J. Kamdem is a Cameroonian-born engineer who previously worked with Boygues Telecom in France. With his mind set on developing his home country, he attracted investors and set up the Douala Grand Mall which comprises 160 shops, has a surface area of 18000 metres square and is worth some 80 billion francs.
Phase 2 of Mathurin Kamdem’s project will be the construction of a 5-star hotel , and offices opposite the Mall. His first investment creates some 4500 jobs.
This is actually his first major investment in his home country #Cameroon and 4500 direct jobs created. WOW.
