-Anglophone detainee dies in Hospital: Nganyu Thomas Tangem reportedly died while chained to his hospital bed at the Yaounde Central Hospital. The Cameroonian awaiting trial at the Central prison in Kondengui was taken to the hospital on July 25 , 2020 and chained to his sick bed on instruction of the prison superintendent Hamadou Modi. Barrister Amungwa Tanyi heading the communication committee of the defense team of Anglophones in detention in Yaounde has describe this as the height of human rights violation.
