-Southern Cameroons Frontline activist Mola Njoh Litumbe laid to rest today in Buea southwest region of Cameroon according to family sources. it should be recalled that Mola Njoh Litumbe died on May 26, 2020 at the Douala General hospital at the age of 93

-Employees of Viettel Cameroun in six out of ten regions are on indefinite strike. the he workers in Buea, Bamenda , Douala like in the other towns say they have not been paid arrears and allowances for years.
-Inhabitants of the city of Douala are calling on the local administrative authorities to come to their aid as floods take hold of many parts of the city due to heavy rainfall experienced in the early hours of Thursday, June 11, 2020.

-Three members of Cameroon’s lower house of parliament have resigned from Parliament to take up the post of Mayors in their localities. Patricia Tomaino Ndam Njoya of the CDU, Ousmanou SA’ALY and Boubakary Djidda of the FSNC all resigned Wednesday during the opening of the second ordinary session of the 2020 legislative year at the Conference Centre in Yaounde chaired by Hon Cavaye Yeguie Djibril.

-Three Cameroon soldiers have been charged with murder for village massacre. At least 23 civilians, including 15 children and 2 pregnant women, were killed on February 14 , 2020 in Ngarbuh a village in Donga-Mantung Division in the Northwest Region of the Country. -The coronavirus pandemic is accelerating in Africa, the World Health Organization (WHO) says.

The WHO’s Africa regional director Matshidiso Moeti said it was spreading beyond capital cities and that a lack of tests and other supplies was hampering responses.
