In Cameroon, prominent Anglophone lawyer and frontline human rights activist, Barrister Sama Francis was buried hours after he passed away, Monday, June 8, 2020.
Barrister Sama aged 62 was laid to rest miles away from home, in Yaoundé – Soa at the National Chiarman of the Social Democratic Front (SDF) Party, Ni John Fru Ndi’s house.
Some family members and close friends attended the funeral via zoom.
Barrister Sama Francis served as the President of the Cameroon Bar Association between 2012 and 2015.
He was a key member of the SDF, he was the party’s lead counsel on several occasions at the Supreme Court.
