The Douala 3 council located in Douala 3 sub division in the littoral region of Cameroon on Friday benefited from some covid-19 kits from Societe Product Nouveaux, SNP group.
The ceremony which took place at the Douala 3 council hall at Logbaba, saw the council benefited from the largess of the company. The donations comprised of sprayers, hand sanitizers, buckets , multifunction liquid disinfectants, Facemasks amongst others.
Speaking during the ceremony the CEO of the company Mr. Hoballah Ibrahim said this is the right time for the company to give back to the people who have given much to the company since its creation some 25 years ago.
“It is a citizen company you know, we have been existing in Cameroon for the past 25 years now and we have made our fortune here in Cameroon and it’s only but normal that we give back to the people that have given so much to the company in these trying times.” Mr. Hobalah said.
He went further to review that the hospitality of Cameroon has made him to naturalise as a Cameroonian.
The mayor of Douala 3 Council EPOUPA BOSSAMBO VALENTIN on his part expressed gratitude to the management of the company for respecting their social corporate responsibility by donating to the needy in his municipality to fight covid-19.
“I am very happy, we are very happy to receive these donations which is the biggest so far that the municipality has received. We going to make sure that the kits gets to the target population of the municipality notably the disabled , orphans and widows.

Douala 3 council is the 2nd to benefit from the largess of the company after Douala 5 council. The company hopes to reach out in the days ahead even to other council areas where it is not operation
