Chad Suspends Compulsory Masking of Its Citizens

The government of the Republic of Chad this Tuesday April 14, 2020 lifted one of the measures which made wearing of mask compulsory for all Chadians.

It was through a press release signed by the Minister of State, Secretary General at the Presidency of the Republic, Kalzeubé Payimi Deubet, this April 14, 2020, that this lifting was announced.

According to the press release, this new suspension measure is justified by the non availability of masks on the market. The government also calls on the population to respect other preventive measures taken so far to combat the pandemic especially those of the World Health Organisation.
