Prime minister chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute says the CPDM has over the years proven that it has concrete solutions to the problems of the Southwest population. He was speaking in Buea headquarters of the South west region today during a CPDM mega rally today which brought together sons and daughters of the region.
The PM recounted some of the achievements of the CPDM in the Southwest region.
“The Southwest region has benefited from three prime ministers and numerous members of government. The SW region is one of the regions that has been most visited by the head of state.
In terms of infrastructures, I have to announce to you today that is fairly advancing in its efforts to make the Limbe deep seaport operational” the PM said.
Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute equally announced that in the months ahead progress shall certainly be made on the important projects in the region with the appointment of its management bodies”
The PM equally mentioned in his key note address that efforts to rehabilitate SONARA ravaged by fire last year are in full gear.
“Other infrastructural projects like the football stadiums that have already hosted the female AFCON and shall soon host the 2020 CHAN and the AFCON are all illustrations of government’s constant attention to the development of our region” the PM recounted
Other infrastructural development projects like the access road to the Limbe Omnisport Stadium, the constructions of the urban road networks in Limbe and Buea; the construction of the Ekok-Kumba Mamfe road amongst others , the pm recounted. He ended by calling on the population of the Southwest region to give their votes to the CPDM.
