The French government says she is ready to assist the Yaoundé regime to rebuild the NW, SW regions of the country. The revelation was made Sunday on Cameroon’s national television by the French ambassador to Cameroon, Christophe Guilhou. To the French diplomat , for the process to be smooth peace between the government and separatist forces is indispensable as local administrative officials say killings, kidnappings for Ransom, shootings and harassments still major worries in those parts of the country.
Christophe Guilhou equally revealed that his country is suspending debts of some African countries as part of measures taken by his government to fight covid-19 in Africa.
During the outing on Cameroon’s national television, Guilhou qually commented on his meeting with Biya last Thursday saying he went to chat ways to forward on fighting Covid-19 as well as strengthening of bilateral ties between the two countries.
Responding to Ibrahim Cherif’s question on how he found president Biya during their meeting Thursday, Guilhou said he found Biya thesame he found him during their last meeting on March 3, 2020 and would not comment further.
